    SWU Fellows Scholarship Application Fall 2025 (Out-of-State)

    Out-of-State SWU Fellows Scholarship Application 

    The Out-of-State SWU Fellows Scholarship of $5,000 will be awarded to five out-of-state students that fulfill the requirements and complete the application below. The application, resume, and essay must be received by the Office of Admissions by March 15. Applicants for the Out-of-State SWU Fellows $5,000 Scholarship must also be admitted to SWU prior to March 15. The recipients of the scholarship will be announced by March 22.

    1. Please attach a resume including school, church, and community service activities as well as any organizations in which you have been involved.  Please include any leadership positions and/or offices you have held, along with any honors or awards you have received.                                
    2. Attach a 650 to 750-word count essay that answers the following questions:                                   
      1. What gifts, abilities, and accomplishments has God gifted you with, and how will you use them to improve the community at and around SWU?                                                                            
      2. What are your future goals and aspirations?  How will your college experience help you accomplish these goals and aspirations?                                                                                                                 
      3. Describe the type of leader you aspire to become.  How do you plan to strengthen your leadership ability?
